Why LipLeap Was Born
1. Identifying the Problem
LipLeap was created to solve common issues like vaginal infections, UTIs, and skin irritation caused by sweat and moisture.
Despite using cotton underwear, many women still experience discomfort because of trapped moisture from sitting too long or exercising.
Our founder also spent a lot of money on feminine care products, but the intimate health issues kept coming back.
2. Solving the Problem
With a background in fabric science, the founder discovered that adding 50% mugwort to cotton fabric improved moisture-wicking and antibacterial qualities.
Mugwort’s natural antimicrobial properties make the underwear breathable and safe for sensitive skin.
3. Creating the Brand
Thanks to investor support, LipLeap launched its first batch of 1,000 underwear and received 100% positive feedback.
We grew to offer more styles while maintaining its core cotton and mugwort fabric in gusset, creating comfortable and effective products that change the way we think about feminine hygiene.
